Work, work, work

Once again, I told myself I do not want to spend my time at night doing any work after office hour. But, I have no choice. My co-author has been lying in the hospital for more than a week, I need to cover his part. Hmmm...I managed to extend my dateline due to my understanding boss. I call her Mama Veda. Because she sounds like a mother at work to me. She calls me up almost everyday and says 'Fern...Look into this....Can you get back to me on ....?'

I've got so much to write and how am I gonna finish it? I think i need to sacrifise my weekend this week, especially my sunday afternoon....Argg.... :(

I'm having a headache now and I wish I could go home and take a nap then I shall lock myself in the computer room or my bedroom with the laptop on the breaky table, sitting on my comfy bed... Age is catching up, my bum gets painful if I sit with the same position for too long. Sigh...

I wanna go home...I want a nap... I wanna concentrate on my write up...

Alright...too much of complaints...Back to work...

Making Memory - 30th June 2007 Mom's Birthday

Tengku Mahkota and Fern made a trip back to Penang to celebrate MAMA's birthday. Since Dragon-I just opened the new branch in up north, we brought MAMA there. We thank god for His protection and love upon MAMA all these years and may our Lord continue to bless her and keep her well.

Sleepless Night in Cheras

Sigh...

Last night...

My body was overtired and I couldn't sleep. I lied down for more than 20 mins, my mind was 'I'm so sleeepy, I want to close my eyes'. But, my body was aching.

Have you ever experienced that?

Afterall, I fell asleep.

How great thou art?

Last Friday Cell Group, Uncle Yap showed us 1VCD. This VCD records the most famous 5 hymns in the world with its story how it was created. Amongst the 5 hymns, personally i love this hymn called 'How great thou art?' One of the church pianist was interviewed and he mentioned that a worship session will not be complete without singing this song. Also, he said that everyone will smile when they start singing this song. Then, i realised that it's really true because i smile with a thankful heart whenever i sing this song. so coincidently, we sang this song on Sunday in the church service.

This song is written by a Swedish Carl Gustav Bosberg and later on it was translated into English.

A thank you note

Thanks to Tee Toh, who made a pit stop at Mont Kiara to give me a free lunch. I had a value meal of Double cheese burger. I'd really enjoyed my french fries.

Foreign languages

Recently, i found out that I might need to consider to learn foreign languages.

Due to the current job scope, I conduct global research and I need to speak with people from Korea, Japan, Germany, France, etc...

I've encountered a few times when people just put down my phone once they heard me saying 'Good morning, may i speak with xxx?'

I can't blame them because they do not understand what I say.

I remember I called up a university in Taiwan. A girl picked up the phone, after hearing me speaking, she said 'hang on'. Guess what happened?
She put down the phone and shouted in mandarin, 'someone speaks english on the phone? How? How? Someone has to go and answer the phone...How?' Her voice was like a little girl running to the parents for help. Finally, a woman picked up my call and attent to me.

What I like to do in the office?

Yes, I like to stay focus on my work, 100% concentrate on my work..muahhahaha..on screen saver mode on my work

Oh, I do not like noises. I like to listen to my MP3, put on my Logitec Headset ( cheryl got this for me for only RM70). But my desk is very to Sales and Marketing people, so i have to adjust myself to get used to their phone conversation.

Shoulder SAKIT

I strained my shoulder again last night.
It's so sakit!!!
Due to the traffic jam in KL, Tengku mahkota and I leave for work everyday around 6.30am. People like me trying to catch with sleep will sleep in the car, obviously.
Tengku Mahkota told me a few times that I sleep like a cat, is that the reason i get hurt my shoulder everytime?
He always makes sure that I adjust the seat down before i fall asleep in the car. If i don't do that, Tengku mahkota always has a hard time trying to control the steering wheel and his left arm has to support this sleepy cat.
I think i need Salompas now...very painful. I can't even turn to my right. The most important thing is I have to sit straight up.
